i'm starting to try to play the cbc but i have a few problems... i can play all the high notes good but if i was to play a low note lower then the open g i have to start from g and go down and get stuck on c is there anything i can do to make i easier to play c and lower? i read another post of somone asking but the post was closed from replys whats toe and what do you mean by open throte?... how do you get bigger embusher?... and even better question... HOW DO YOU HOLD IT?!?!?! maybe if i learn how to hold it i can play better... rightnow i lean it towards me leaning on my nee... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
the cbc's older then me O_O its like 26 years old or older tink the reed's are too.... when i took it out from the corner of the music room it had dust on it O_O''' HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

my teacher dont let me bring it home daily so i cant tell you the mouthpeice and horn but i have a v3 rico reed and a V2 1/2 their really REALLY OLD reeds the logo on the reed is completely different from the logo now its ink insted of the burn in looking logo now o.o... how do i tell mouthpeice and horn?... horn has a difference?!?! O_O'''' confused... i'l try to borrow it tomoero

I have 2 contras... not 6!

Just make sure you get some new reeds. I play on Vandoren "2". They are expensive, so if you must, Rico 3's are good, just get new ones.

... teres 2 mouthpices... the other one is a little shorter and the hole thing where the reed gos is a bit wider too wide for the reed but no ligiture ?_? oh found french reeds vandoren medium 2 1/2 moyennes 3 and bell says vito the box dont look like he got it just last year!!! T_T

if the bell says vito and the mouthpeice says lablanc royal whats the middle made of?!?!?

probably a Vito horn. Check to make sure the mouthpiece has no scratches or chips on the "table" (flat part).

I'd need to watch you play and check your equipment to see what your problem is. It could be you, or quite possible the horn. If anything on the top half of the horn leaks, you'll have major problems (assuming your reed and mouthpiece are good...and your embouchure too)

Have a repair guy check it out.

i dont think i'm suppose to gt it checked cuz i have to give it to teacher to check theres 2 big cracks one below the top pad sopt a little and 1 above or under the meteal ring in the middle plus not sure if teacher can get it fixed cuz school budget i'l try to see if i can get it fixed i can play sound with all notes but the c it squeeks and tink lower ones sound funny =S
