I am being offered a Selmer CL200 clarinet for $160. The clarinet is in pristine condition. So the condition is not important.

Is this a good deal? I began playing the clarinet in September. Is it worth it? Or should I let the offer go.

I don't know if I will continue playing, since I am considering playing the baritone sax with the clarinet.

$160 is a good deal if it is in playable condition. Play test it first to make sure. The CL200 are nice beginner instruments and $160 is a good value in very good playing condition - then you don't need to spend any money fixing it up.

If you plan on reselling it on ebay then the price may be a little high for those scenarios. But if you are looking for a playing instrument and it is in VG condition then it's a good price.
