YOUR SO RIGHT THEY ARE TOO MUCH SO YOU SHOULD TRY DICO REEDS YOU CAN GET THEM ALMOST ANYWHERE! I USE 3 1/2 REEDS AND THEY ARE BETTER THAN 3'S.

Keep in mind going to a different reed may affect your tone, if not from the different cuts but also the different type of cane used.

Regular rico (which i haven't used in ages) normally had larger veins in it compared to Mitchell Laurie Premium.

Take a couple various reeds and put them up to a light and you can actually see the differences in the vein sizes, and the cuts (thinner parts, etc). You can also compare the butts of them as to the different parts of the can being use.
