i own a 1940ish professional r. malerne clarinet from my great granfather. It appears to be plastic, but that doesn't seem like it should. Can you tell me more about the r. malerne brand, if it is wood or plastic, and how much it may be worth after a tune up, repadding, and professional cleaning? It sounds and plays beautiful, but needs minor repairs. No one seems to no much about r. malerne, so any info would be great. S/n d39xx
thanks in advance

it is marked professional, also characterized bythe "four star" pattern used on pro models
( three were used on intermediate, and none on standard)
Thanks for responding, no one else seems to be...
