I was just wondering how old u guys are, what gr u r doing in the clarinet, and how long u have been playing. I am 16, been playing for almost 7 years, and I am doing my diploma.

Awesome!...sad to say im `only` a Freshman in High School! Ive been playing ever since 6th grade now-3 1/2 years-and ive come along way. In middle school-I made great chairs in Honor Bands. First-County/ 2-District...so on and so forth. And I also made All-State for South Carolina in 8th grade. Now im a Freshman in High School, and so far Ive made 1st in County, District and Region...and right now im going to audition for All-State on Saturday. Im playing grade 4 and grade 5, and also learning improv on Saxophone. So far, so good; right? I want to major in music-thats what I want to do. Either performance, or conducting. hayley! what school do you go to? I also live in South Carolina and I`m also auditioning this weekend at Lexington High School. (Right afterwards I`m leaving to go directly to Cleveland for a CIM audition) I`m a senior in high school though and I`m homeschooled. I just thought that was cool seeing someone on this forum from my state!

I`m 15 and i`ve been playing for 4 years. I`m on about a grade 5. Hayley and Mozart Girl, What a coincidence! I have to audition at Lexington High school also for All-State.

Thats weird. maybe I`ll see you around... Do you know what time you`re auditioning? I have to be there as soon as possible so I can leave to DRIVE all the way to Cleveland. Whats the Clinic etude this year? We have to play Weber`s Concertino for the senior band.

I`m 16 and i have been playing for 5 years...and now that its my junior year i took up Contrabass in clarinet choir recently and i am 5th chair in wind ensamble(aka the good band lol)
