With a size 4 reed on Bb soprano or the baby Eb, I can get one octave higher then the third A. The Contrabass is hard to get much of a good range out of with only a size 1.5 reed.

I can play the highest C. If you play flute that is the highest B flat that uses the trill key closest to the foot joint
