I`ve just taken my wooden clarinet home after sending it for repair in the music store 6 weeks ago.

During this period of 6 weeks in the music store without playing, the wood appears to be dried up.

Do I need to break in the clarinet again or it cracks ?

i would say use a small amount of bore oil to prevent it from cracking more, but make sure you know how to use it as it can damage pads and too much isn`t good either. or try a humidifier in your case to keep you horn from drying out. these are quite inexpesive. cracks usually don`t have a major effect on sound quality unless they are all the way through the bore, so small ones are no need to worry. good luck
