Does anyone know how to do the wail for Gershwin`s Rhapsody in Blue?
I have a b flat clarinet...some advice would be appreciated

you have two choices...either to do the "smear" with your embechure or by sliding your fingers across the keys as you "gliss", or both. I could actually do it pretty well (right brad?) but this is pretty hard to teach through the internet and not in person.

Some further information would be appreciated. I`ve always heard you have to do it with your embochure and a bit of sliding on the fingers. Could someone go into further details?
