I am in need of an English Horn solo for an audition. Does anyone have any suggestions or any possible way of helping me!

can this be excerpts?

you can look at really well known ones, such as Rossini's William Tell Overture, Dvorak's New World Symphony- Largo, and Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas music (for band). ALso, less known, is the solo in Berlioz's Russian Carnival Overture. thats very beautiful too.

Thanks for the info. I think I am going to play Dvorak's New World Symphony- Largo.

Theres one solo that i would say is one of the best english horn solos.

Piano Concerto in G.
II mvt. Adagio Assai
Maurice Ravel

check it out sometime =)
