Okay, so I'm sure every oboist needs a helping hand, or something to make playing oboe somewhat more worthwhile. So, anyone got tips or tricks to share? Share them here!

One is the really terribly sounding but awfully funny "German Police Car" -- Play Db (either works, but try low Db to be sure), and lift the index finger on your right hand, trilling. It should sound like a German police car. (:
