Hello!
Please, in the very beginning, can someone tell me sth more then "put the tip of the tounge on the hole of the reed"?

Where on the reed hole should the top of the toungle be and what does it mean for the sound?

Many thanks!!!

You should touch the reed with the very tip of your tongue or slightly underneath the tip.

Practice in front of a mirror, play several repeated tongued notes, then stop with your tongue on the reed and open your mouth so you can see exactly where on your tongue you are touching the reed. Significant problems occur if you use a part of the tongue above the tip.
