Hey guys and gals,

I enjoy transcribing music scores for the oboe. If there are any other folks who does the same, I would like to exchange works. What ya say?

You may also call it transposing. Though when transcribing a score from one instrument to another there are one or two more issues which one needs to be careful, i.e. harmony in tune, instruments anatomy, and harmony among instruments. Where as transposing is merely concerned about the places of the notes. If you are using Finale transposing would take about 2 minutes maximum, where as transcribing takes a couple of days, sometimes weeks.

I transpose paino music into oboe solos. I also love to compose and arrange pieces for band. I would love to trade music sometime!
