looked on google and all I can see that it has "intermediate features at a great student price" hehe ~ but it is a nice price and looks like a very nice oboe. That`s all I can say though because I`ve never had any personal experience with one.

I actually own one of these oboes and its a nice horn. For the price you cant go wrong with the keywork your getting. The only thing its missing from being a complete full conservatory oboe is the split ring D key. It even has a 3rd octave key! The only thing I can see that was wrong with mine is that the keywork seems more "factory tuned", rather than a "hand tuned" like a fox oboe would be. Some things just seem to tight or too loose, and some minor adjustments to the mechanism may need to be made. Otherwise its a nice horn for the price payed!
