This is a new old stock Chedeville bassoon mouthpiece that uses a single reed.
I got it around 1980, and it was sitting in a music store drawer for apparently over a decade when I got it.
It came with 4 reeds, but I used one to test it, so the 3 unused reeds will be what I include with it.
It has a darker, more human singing quality to it than traditional double-reeds. This wouldn`t appeal to closed-minded pedagogues, but for those who are creative artists, or who do recording work, you would find it an invaluable addition to your tools.
I had the oboe version, and sold that for $300. This is far more rare, but I`ll sell for that same price, or a reasonable offer.
It comes in its original box, with cap, ligature, and reeds.
Pix available to very serious buyers, please.
Thanks. mustsellall@yahoo.com
