well roll my R`s first to get the feeling, then when playing i can just roll my R`s and jump from note to not.. most people just push valves really fast but i never liked the sound of that....iv never used it in a song.. most people want vibrato not trills.

I describe trilling is very quick slur from one note to another. On paper, a trill will appear as a small 16th or 32nd note with a tie to the next note, usually a half or full step higher or lower. Trilling is most easily achieved by very quick valve action, but can be done as a lip slur with lots of practice.

Gentlemans!!!! You forgot about many ways to do trilling. It is not only pushing very fast: "b,c,b,c...."

How about baroque trilling, slow, fast trilling, trilling starting at the bottom or from above, and how about ending of the trilling. The performance depend in what style do you want to make a trilling.....
