Hello everyone,
In the past, one of my issues has been centering notes, and playing the center of the Trumpet in general. But in the last couple of weeks I have started each day with some note bending exercises. I simply play a Bb major scale, slowly bending each note down a half step, then centering, the up a half step, then settling on the center again. I do this with each note two or three times then move up to the next note in the scale. Not only is this a nice mellow way to open the day, but it has really helped me with centering pitches. It also seems that it would logically improve flexibility, but I will have to wait on that one.

Anyways, I just thought I would share a simple exercise that has assisted me in finding my center.

Does anyone else do note-bending exercises? If so, have you seen similar results?
