I can play a high C, the first C above the staff. I can play that pretty consistently. But that's after I practice my french horn for a while and my lips are a bit tired, so I don't know how high I could play. The highest note I've ever hit was a high F, the first F above the staff, but that was only once and it didn't sound too good.

I'm not really into range much at all, but I do fiddle around with it sometimes. Highest note...would be a C above high C

I've only hit that note 3 times, I did it in a Jazz Concert for my school. Usually, my range only goes up to a high G or high Eb, depending on if it's Jazz or Symphonic

I can hit between F and A above the high C depending on the day and how much I practice. I have'nt needed it yet but it could come in handy.

I guess I could reply. The highest note I ever hit on trumpet was low C...yes low.. but since I only tried the trumpet twice I guess that's ok. I actually play tuba and weirdly I can play higher and louder than on trumpet with it (forget about tone up there...), like trumpet G or so. The highest I ever had to play in music was high Eb (tuba) which is I believe is where you are open valved on trumpet and dipping down ~1.5 octaves below C. The lowest I've ever had in a piece of music is low Eb which is also open on trumpet and is 3 octaves below your low F. Hmm what's the lowest note I can play? Let's see...just a sec...

Ok I'm back. It turns out to be Ultra-Low Bb in the lip slapper lows. I believe that's 9 octaves lower than that really high C someone hit. It takes so much air to play the "note" that I can't last more than ~1/2 a second without running out of breath. I know it's a weird thing to say, but I will. Lip excursion (air) has to increase I think 4 times more per octave to reach the same volume when you're at the extreme ends. That means my C, to reach the same volume, would take 32 times to air to reach the same volume, it wasn't very loud either when I played it...

Well thanks for reading if you decided to read it, but that was just what happens when I start thinking about music.

Hm... My highest note that I can hit consistently would be high C. If I'm doing really good, I can hit a high G, but I can't do it in a piece of music or improving at all- haven't found a single spot that a note that high sounds good in. (My section leader, meanwhile, manages to sprinkle in notes that, were they on a staff, would but a flute player to shame into all of his solos. And they sound good. Man, I hate him.)

I can definitely play a double high G, but I can sometimes get the A or B flat above that.

I have a consistent high G and on good days i can nail a double A. I think after double A its kind of pointless to play, for i feel that it just takes away the musicality of the trumpet. Sure its cool to play high, but why play higher than that? If anything, a double C should be the highest that one should be playing if necessary. Anything above that is pointless. Chet Baker didnt have half of that and he sounded absolutely gorgeous. But playing high is a lot of fun lol.
