I wanna know the equipment you people are, cause if ur using a pea shooter mouth piece that gives u a small pinchy sound instead what mouthpeice you use regualarly to get the normal big warm trumpet, then it takes away from your claim. I'm not by any mean saying that big mouthpeices are better, prehaps you get a nice big normal sound on a 7c or smaller, but if ppl are boasting that they can squeak out the double high C and arn't pros or at least University majors then i doubt the legitamacy of their claim.

i ususally play a Bach 1 and 1/2 C and can get out solid E, and can usually get up to a Aflat/A, but its a sqeak, but i'm workin on improving the sound, i do have a mouthpeice that has a shallower cup for when i want to play high stuff for like lead trumpet stuff in jazz or piccole trumpet stuff, but it really only makes the high stuff easier to hit and lockin to, but ig gives not as big of a sound that i usually do. expially in teh lower to middle range. i much prefer my 1 and 1/2

Ummm, on a good day an A or G above the dub c. Every once in a blue moon a triple c. but I play on a 7c so I dont know if it really counts but I can get a pretty good sound on the A and G. its more or less a loud squeek instead of a full tone on the triple c though.

BTW-even though my username is T-boner I play trumpet also.

High A, sometimes a loud B flat. One more step and I'm at double C. Right now, a double C is just not there. I've been able to hit the high A for 10 years but I seem to be stuck there. I don't know what it is going to take to hit a double C loud. I play all the time and I practice flexibility exercises and I practice breathing exercises too. My double A is loud!!!!!

In terms of highest note ever hit, I hit a double high C. I was never able to hit it again though....
