does anyone know what i kan do to make a screaming sound like in the movie dumline or maynard ferguson???? hit me back if you know

I love both. Theres not much I think you can do except practice alot. Heres some tips I`ve read that help. I myself can only play a nice and controlled high E.

use as much air as you can

push with your diaphragm, not your lips

relax the center of your lips and tighten up only the corners

i`ve heard that long tones help range but some respected trumpet players will say they can damamge your chops

Thank you for your reply i actuall need it for a piece of music in my marching band it goes up to the double high Bb so i need to scream.
