HEY!!!!I'm gonna need your all's help on this. I want to make a list of ways to tell if youre a band geek, kind of like those "you might be a redneck" jokes.I'll start you all off with a few of my own.........

*If you've ever said, "Dang it! I spilled valve oil all over my uniform!" you might be a band geek,

*If you are in the band room more than you are in your bedroom,you might be a band geek.

*If you can entertain yourself for at least an hour with an electric tuner, you might be a band geek.

*If you cheer at football games more than the cheerleaders, you might be a band geek.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!REPLY SO WE CAN KEEP THE LIST GOING!!!

You might be a band geek if, you cut class just to go to the band room and practice.

You stay at school until pep band starts just to play with timpani and music notation software.

You skip class to go to the band room to practice (as above), you have fun talking to college band students about music theory and arguing about various composers, the most recent stuff on your i-pod is anything by Bach, Beethoven, or Mozart, you find that Prokofiev and Stravinksy are too much for you to listen to, and if you stay up in the band room until 10:30 at night...

you might be a band geek if you skip lunch to play your instrument with your director.

You might be a band geek if, you walk in time with anything you hear(ie fire alarm, someone else's feet)

You might be a band geek if, you know every detail of every DCI show by heart

You might be a band geek if, you name the key and time signature of everyones favoite hip hop song

You might be a bond geek if, you get in fights over which make of an instrument is better

You might be a band geek if you've ever missed a party/date so you could practice your scales.

all you talk about with your friends is ensambles,etc.

you may be a band geek if you have an account on this website and actually take part in any of the conversations in the forums.

If you watched the NFC championship game just to see the marching bands play at half time.

You won't go out with anyone who doesn't have perfect pitch.

(I don't have perfect pitch, by the way.)

You may be a band geek if you can list more famous brass players than modern musicians.

If you get to school early to practice.

If you listen to band songs on your ipod.

If you whistle band songs in the corridor at school.

(they all applie to me)

haha here ya'll go you refuse to date anyone that doesn't appreiciate marching band as much as you do(that's me....my boyfriend is a fellow trumpet player)
