So for jazz band we want to play Brass Machine. We have it and everything but there is one thing that bothers us. Every recording you hear the trumpets have this one rythem. ITs before the first solo. On recordings its a sixteenth note figure or something like that and we can play but the music we have has a completely different rythem and notes. Has anybody heard a version like the one we have.

It's just an easier arrangement of the song... the original Maynard chart is really hard
