Do you not think that was a legitimate point?

There you go! I like that idea better than mine. Unfortunately I can't see it happening completely in the near future. (abolishing sexism, I mean.) There will always be those who think one sex is superior to another, although those people will have differing views on which one that is...anyway, hopefully it will soon be a little less common than it is now.

Ok, sorry to everyone... what I meant by that is that all the girl trumpetists that I know, they are all amazingly talented... sorry about that...

Frankly, I believe the further use of "genetalia" language would put this thread on the level with the ones you detest. There is no difference in male and female embouchure. I don't know why one would consider lady trumpeters ugly. Most men trumpet players I know (I am a man, by the way) don't win any prizes. Some look like they fell out of the tree and hit every ugly stick on the way down. But appearances are unimportant. What is importatnt is: Can you play?! Have the ones who call women trumpeters ugly refer to Alison Balsom, Tine Thing Helseth, and Ingrid Jensen. Then look at old shots of Dizzy (sorry Diz) while he was performing.
