I want to buy a good trumpet I`m thinking to spend 350$- 400$

I was thinking to get a Jean Baptiste but I don`t know if their trumpets are good or not.

What are some good trumpets in the range of $350 and $400.

any info would be helpful??

Bachs are the best

Bach, no question, but maybe expenive. Yamaha isn`t too far behind though. If you want to spend money get something nice, that will last and be of high quality. Don`t get the bach TR300 though, (it sucks)

Bach, is realy the best choice, but if you are limited with 300 - 400 dollars I highly suggest ebay.

I agree that a bach strad is the best instrument for the money but with your budget that really isn`t an option. Also it depends on what or where you are planning on going with this instrument. If you are looking for gig instrument or one that will get you through school. My suggestion is to look into a yamaha or be patient save more money and buy a Bach or Top of the line Yamaha

look for Shilike or Getzen

note: i have a shilike, and they stoped making them, very hard to find, yet the absolute best

Getzen and Bach... Bach for beginners. and whats wrong with TR300? that was my first trumpet... it cost me $1000 and its silver... lol... um getzen is amazing, but quite expensive... 350-400 is a very low amount for a trumpet and u wouldnt find good quality unless it was used

just because its silver dosent mean its good, i mean, i could plat a begger trumpet, but it would still be crap

I spent that much more because silver instruments have a way better sound... and I am well known locally already because of my pure sound... so why not improve it?!

renouned locally? yeah, shure. and no, your wrong, Mike McClary, is first chair in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, he is renouned as the best trumpet player in Georgia, and he plays on brass. its whats on the inside of the instrument, not the coating

If you wan`t a good trumpet, keep saving and counting your penny`s. If you want to know who makes the best trumpets look at www.monette.net. The best trumpet players such as Wynton Marsalis play a monette.

ill tell ya something here... if a trumpet is silver then u have a more pure sound. I dont care if u know someone who has a good sound without a silver trumpet, so do i... but i was just stating that i own a trumpet and its a bach, tr300 its silver and i am rather happy with that. if you have a problem with the fact that maybe someone knows something about an instrument that u clearly know nothing about then go practice some more... im sure u could use it!
