ok, the time has come to buy a pro trumpet (still playing on a student besson cornet for 7 years)
ive saved about 1,400
and have got a scholarship direct to me that kicks in an extra 2000 (dollars)
I think I am very serious about continuing in college, and i am a very serious player
having made the texas all state band 4 years

I really like the larger bores and bells on trumpets and am currently liking the
Getzen 3003 Genesis Trumpet

i would say my budget is 3,400 roughly

any suggestions to other trumpets i should consider? is getzen a good brand for serious trumpet players? anybody own a genesis trumpet and would care to share their thoughts?

Thank you for your responses
