Hi. if you`re looking for some sheet music, try at your local library. i don`t know if it`s just some libraries, but ours has loads of really great stuff and it`s free to take out.

you`re very welcome sam. i don`t know if they will have any there, but it`s worth giving it go i suppose. recently i got alanis morrisette (i dont know if you`ve heard of her) and i have memorised half of the songs from her `jagged little pill` album. only thing is i cant work out if this is a good or a bad thing! lol

well, there was music at our library and we got some out.....they even have recordings classical and stuff...and you can search for a cd for the specific instrument so i found a lot of stuff for myself....the only problem is that you aren`t allowed to copy the music are you??? i wish you could there was good music....well, good luck!

If the music you can`t copy, is sheet music, if that`s what you`re talking about, you could just memorize, then you wouldn`t have to check it out again.

glad you found some. as for the memorising part, i usually don`t stop playing/practicing a piece until i know it by heart anyway, it just seems to be easier. i think it`s harder to play something just by reading the music if you haven`t learnt at least a bit of it. could just be me though. does this make any sense??
grandma bob.
ps. how long did you take it out of the library for?

Correct me if I`m wrong but I think you can copy it as long as you keep it to yourself.

I THINK you can copy music for your own use IF you don`t use it for commercial purposes like selling the copies.
Also I think if you write on the copy you make that it`s only for "Private study, scholarship and research" and then keep it in your own private library I think that might be ok.
The other thing is if the library music is out of print and you can`t buy copies i think you can copy and label your copies with the "private study, reaearch and scholarship" thing.
I`m not 100% sure though.
