Practicing my Grade 6(really hard) solo my lessons teacher gave me today. Its Concerto in E Minor for Alto Saxophone by Guilhaud. Lots o work for a certain upcoming 9th grader(me) who also has band camp!!!! I'm excited.

shouldn't she be teaching kids how to talk english and not spanish, and anyway who needs spanish. i dont plan on going to spain mexico or cuba

Whooo yesterday was my last day of school and i'm free for 2 months till band camp! And i'm a SENIOR!!!! YAY one more year! So i'm not doing anything for the next 2 months other than practicing 5 hrs a day for my college auditions. Actually, I think i'm going to go practice right now.

i'm tired. i know random, but today at summer band they seperated woodwinds and brass and percussion so i had nothing to blame on the brass cuz they weren't there!

i'm just going to my school marching band camp. there aren't that many good camps around here

alrighty then... i just figured something out. never ever ever be friends with a cheerleader. and thnx zoom, I BLAME THE BRASS FOR NOT SUPPORTING THE WOODWINDS! lol

i think im finaly getting used to winter, i dont like sping or autom too much

spring and autom are like 1 month here, too short for such a big change

my favorite season is definetly spring. less bees, but there are still flowers. and yep zoom it's sorta a tale of 'woe' not that bad, but i was in a group with a cheerleader, a soccer player, and a girl who's jack of all trades when it came to sports. they didn't want me to be with them becuz quote, "ur 2 nerdy. it was ok when u were really smart, but now that u've become such a band geek u can't hang out with us." so now i hang out with some of the more indie ppl. which is fine by me. wow that was long!

Wow, I've definitely missed a lot on this forum. I don't check this website for one day and there's three more pages of replies. Anyway, I agree with musicgirl 27. Being a freshman will be awesome because band is everyday. Both my brothers got out of school today, I was out on May 30. I'm involved in community band this summer and 2 hour practices are quite the workout. Its time to have another funueral for some of my reeds.
