Idea for new instrument!

Hello all,

I was thinking that 8notes.com is laking in one musical instrument... The whistle, be it a saprano whistle (commonly known as the tin whistle) or the low whistle. I think it would be an excellent addition to the site. Seeing as there are only 25 scores in the recorder section I feel that we should have a whistle section, I could easily upload at least 25 scores of music for the tin whistle. Plus the tin whistle is growing in popularity and there are always people looking for sheet music for it, so I think that this would draw many people to the site. What are everyone elses thoughts on this??

I think that is a very good thought. You should bring that up to the site manager.

Thank you, I have just recently brought it up with the admin and he is looking over some of the sheet music and .midis I've prepared.

yes i know lots of people who play tin whistle- they could put up like traditional/irish stuff.

Agreeing on this: there is definitively a need for traditional instruments.

Yes, tin whistle stuff! I'm teaching myself to play the tin whistle, and I need sheet music.
