PLEASE HELP
IVE BEEN TRYING FOR AGES TO UNDERSTAND THIS HOMEWORK

Here are my questions:

1. "Write the following scales starting on this note:"

A. do pentatonic, starting on d

B. la pentatonic, starting on c

How am I supposed to figure out the key signature and wether it's major, minor etc. just from wether it's "la" or "do" pentatonic?

2. "What are the intervals between the notes in d major pentatonic?"

How am I supposed to tell if it is a major, minor, perfect, augmented, or diminished 2nd if the notes are d & e, e & f, f & g, etc.?! How can I tell and why?
