Hey everyone quick question... I normally play first or second... but sometimes if im needed for a different band, or osmething like that ill go and play 3rd or 4th... when i start to play in the lower register like a g or below... my nose starts to like vibrate/itch/tickle... however you want to say it... Anyone ever experience this before?

Yeah, but I trimmed my nose hairs, and now it`s fine.
Seriously, yeah, I`ve noticed that several times. It doesn`t usually last, and it doesn`t usually bother me, but every once in a while it does.
Now that I think about it, I have no idea what I do when that happens. When it does again, I will let you know.

i scratch my nose when i do it. there is a routine on bass trombone by phil teele(legendary studio bass bone player) consisting of long tones forever... and to say the least after doing long tones down in the dumps forever you kinda forget about the tingling and just concentrate on not passing out! but for now... just scratch your nose and try to get passed it.
dont know what else to say
