I have a Jet-Tone piece, the Urbie Green model. I personally think it is junk. I have INCREDIBLE range with it, but the tone is horid. I still have it, but I only touch it when I am screwing around, not being musical at all.

All the Jettone mouthpieces I saw had very shallow `V` shaped cups. Mostly `V` cups are used to keep extrememly small mouthpieces from sounding too shrill. I`d expect this type of mouthpiece to give you more high range but it is just a crutch; what you need to do is develop more range with a more conventional mouthpiece.

LOUD mouthpieces are made of stanless steel instead of brass. I never tried one; some of the people I know of who tried them liked them; some didn`t.

What are you playing now and what are you hoping to improve with a new mouthpiece?

Jet tone mouthpieces rule, but remeber, size matters, and dont play on a shallow mouthpiece for more then 30 mins straight, or emboucher damage could occur.
