yeah the band i play in used to have a trombone chick but she is now stand in music director
and i have also known a few other girl trombone players. there isnt as many girls bone players as guys but all the girl players i know are usually better than all the guy ones i know... so not sure why there arent more out there.

Hye, Im a trombone chik, I've been playin since 4th grade, and there are 15 trombone players in our skool band, and 11 of them are girls. So yes, there are trombone chiks out there. many.

I'm probably too old to be commenting on this but there are a lot of very talented chick trombone players out there. There is a quartet from England called "Bones Apart" they're phenomenal. I'm a chick trombone player! I've been playing for 6 years now. I also know about 3 or 4 other girl trombone player and a girl bass trombone player! i never knew it was a more male instrument... whatever, i lovelovelove it! it is my baby.
