Hey Guys,

I looking into buying a new trombone soon. I would like a more professional one possibly with a F attatchment. What are your suggestions for buying? What is your trusty t-bone brand? Please give your suggestions.

Shelby

First off, what is your price range?
Whatever you do, always play the horn before you buy. That way you know its what you want. Always look for horns that are "junk." For instance, I was at a pawn shop just looking around and the guy brought out a trombone, brand I've never heard of; I had to work with the tuning slide for 15 minutes before it finally slid back into the horn; the inside of the horn (which the guy said the horn was brand new special ordered) had rust in it; and the lacquer on it was messed up. So look for poor craftsmanship. But as I said, always play before you buy
