I dont actually play the trombone I play the euphonium but the notes are the same.
I have thought up smoke on the water and it is like this:
B(flat)C D B(flat)C E(flat)D B(flat)C E(flat)C B (flat)

I think it is pretty correct one you play it but I don`t know what else to add to it t make it more than 3 measly measures.
Thanks in Advance
Michael

Wow, it was great!!! What instrument do u play? That sounded so much better and was alot simpler than all the flats, etc.

Hello,
I wrote down the second set of notes that was written in this discussion. I don`t know if they`ll work for my instrument, but I`ll try.
What are the notes for Smoke on the water on an Alto Saxaphone? I cpoied down the notes that started with an A natural, but I don`t know if that will sound right.
If you can give me the correct notes to Smoke on the water for the Alto Saxaphone, please e-mail them to me at daniel_disturbed@hotmail.com

Thanks!

sry i took so long to get back to...um, izzit bones nakuti or sumthin like that? that`s kind of a weird coincedence. i play piano and guitar too, i tried trombone but got kinda bored with it. i`ve played flute since Gr. 6 but gosh, it sooo boring. i tried ur tabs for S.O.T.W, it actually sounded better without chording. (i used what u siad to do on trombone) do u only play tabs on guitar? i do both. and do u play: accoustic, electric, or bass? anyway, i found ur trombone notes very helpful. thanx.
