I myself am a guy playing trombone, but at the moment i know of 3 girls that play trombone, and 2 in my band are wanting to switch to trombone.

I am a female trombone player. I love to play trombone too. Its fun. A lot of girls don`t play trombone. I`m the only one in my school inculding the middle school thats female and plays trombone. I sit 1st chair also. I like it cause the guys there say that they are better than me and I beat them everytime. Its great. Lacee

I`m male as well but personally feel that women who play the trombone are simply beautiful. The trombone was in the past so stereotypically a male-oriented instrument. And the fact that women are stepping up and taking up the instrument is really great to see. And watching and listening to a woman play the trombone is, as far as I`m concerned, a most beautiful experience. So all of you women out there who play trombone please keep up the good work and show the world the beauty and magic that can be expressed with this instrument.
