I`m a male 8 grade T-bone and there aren`t any t-bone chics in my school. But in marchin competitions one thing I learned, is how hot girlt-bones really are.

All you trombone players out there, i salute you. We are playing the best instrument there is and I will tell you why.

1. The trombone and ONLY the trombone can gliss.
2. We are the LOUDEST instrument. period.
3. We have the largest range of any wind instrument.

Ask you instructors of teachers to play "A trombone players dream", this sweet song i composed. If they dont know what youre talking about then tell them you want to play a song where you tongue only once starting at 2Bb`s above the staff and gliss your way down to a Bb below the staff all at a quadruple forte. Then pick a random note and blast it. Trust me its the greatest thing ever.

P.S. If your teacher/instructor says no, then say this,"Ok fine, I`ll legato tongue it then." Then start the song anyways.

Women who play trombone are indeed lovely. Having growing up in an era when these women were quite rare, it`s wonderful to see that there seems to be more and more women choosing this instrument. I sing, play guitar and love jazz. The range of musical expression associated with this instrument is incredible and beautiful to hear. The lady who plays this instrument is indeed a special lady. IMHO.

There`s a wonderful jazz trombonist who is really making her mark. Her name is Sarah Morrow. Hope some of you ladies follow in her footsteps. Karin and Mimmi Hammer, Jen Krupa, and Genevieve Duval (dixieland) are prime examples of truly excellent trombonists. It`s so great to hear of so many of you taking up the instrument. Don`t give up!!
