I've just completed my second lesson and began noting on the fingerboard. I played a few songs using my first two fingers on the D string. My instructor showed me correct way to hold violin which allows me to more freely use my fingers and to reach notes I couldn't before this lesson. Well, practice, practice until next Tuesday eve.
