Hi! I've got a cheap violin case and I want to buy a new one. Can you please recommend me some cases?
I'm pretty sure that I don't want a hard case and I would prefer a rectangular or oblong case. Thank you!

hard case ones are good, because they hold everything in but yes the oblong ones are really cool and they come in hard shells ore material hard shells. generally its not what it looks like, though naturally thats important! the inside should have room for two full length bows and should be shaped to fit your violin (not exactly, just pretty good). its really nice if they have velcro or straps to hold down the neck when its sitting in there. this stops it jiggling. it should be padded on the lid above the bridge. nice ones have a violin blanket/cover. there should be a nice huge pocket for rosin and a tuner pipe and stuff. you can usually arrange an electric tuner and shoulder around the scroll.
