Hi
My grandmother has this violin with a notice in the inside-
"Jacobus Stainer, in Absam (it looks like Abfam),
prope Oenipontum, 1660"
It is surely over 70 years old - my great-grandfather bought it in the 30s in Bulgaria.Could it be original Stainer and does anyone know anything about this kind of violins ?

and some photos of the violin -
