Everytime I play the E string, the notes really sound squeaky and well, terrible. What can I do about it?

I myself am having a similar problem, but I dont know the solution =(. After my next lesson I am going to bring it up and I'll let you know what my mentor tells me. If you get any info before than, let me know too =)

Try using lighter weight on the string and a faster bow stroke.

Maybe there is too much or too little rosin on the bow??

My instructor also told me to use lighter pressure and faster strokes, and it works for me. Hope this helps you out!
