Hello, I'm trying to teach myself violin but came across a very uncomfortable finger position.

When I put my index finger onto E string F note, my middle finger then goes to the G note, when I lift the G note back up (middle finger, ring finger, little finger all lifts up), I have this... weird sensation afterwards that leaves me very uncomfortable for the next 30 minutes. It's not painful, but a discomfort that I cannot explain.

Now, I'm typing this to you after 10 minutes of practicing, and I have some trouble typing "S" on the keyboard, but I do know this will subside in the next 1-2hrs.

Hopefully someone with the knowledge about this can advise me how I should tackle this. Is it simply just more practice everyday until I don't feel that discomfort anymore? I don't suppose I'm practicing this incorrectly.

Correct fingering depends on the musical context, and you need a teacher.
