If anyone feels like having a really great week learning some folk tunes and new techniques come along to the Bath Folk Festival Traditional Summer School (August 11th-15th.) I went along last year having been trained as a classical violinist and I enjoyed it so much that I'm now helping to organise this year's festival. They are a really friendly group of people and the tutors on the summer school are all top class players. The whole city is buzzing with folk music that week.
