I like playing Bach because his music is really fast and fun, but I think Mozart is more fun to play. I love the sounds and the violas usually get a good part. It is hard but it sounds really good in the end. I`ve only played one song of Beethoven, and it is hard but pretty.

I agree about Bach..have u ever played the cello prelude? that thing is fast, and the treble clef there really helps out a lot! LOL.

Bach solos (viola) are usually originally written for cello (Bach wasn`t an enormous fan of the viola) Beetoven, played the viola, but his peices are very critical...i really don`t like to play them. But Mozart used viola extensively! I love the Sinfonia for violin and viola, plus other solos...MOZART FOR ME!!

u also mistaken bach. Bach loved viola, it was his favorite string instrument. thats why viola can play for cello solos an dviolin solos

well if bach loved viola, why hadn`t he wrote VIOLA solos for VIOLA. So what he liked it...and played it...all he wrote were ensembles for viola. not any VIOLA SOLOS...titled VIOLA SOLOS

Yes, that`s true. Actually he didn`t write for viola solo, but for viola da gamba. You can find his Suites for cello solo today that can be played very well on a viola too. They are amazing compositions.
