Hello~ I'm trying to buy a new intermediate viola and I've been looking at Gliga violas. However, many of the models are very similar, so I was just wondering what the difference between an oil and an antique "finishing style" is, as that seems to be the only difference between a few of the instruments.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for other intermediate violas, it would be much appreciated. I don't have much of a budget (600ish? I would actually rather it be closer to 400.) but all recommendations would be wonderful for 16" violas. Thanks in advance~
