I recently bought the Kalmus Edition of the Hoffmeister Viola Concerto in D and the written cadenza for the Allegro is the original cadenza published by H.L. Grahl. The most commonly performed cadenza is from the International Music Company Edition, written by Paul Doktor and the only recordings I can find are of editions using Doktor's cadenza. Has anyone ever heard a recording of the original cadenza? I would really love to hear it played by someone else, but I can't seem to find a recording of the Grahl or Kalmus editions anywhere.
