Want to learn Cello, need some information

Ok, first off, what kind of cello should I get. I`ve seen 4/4`s on ebay for dirt cheap $140, but imagin in all things in life you get what you pay for and that it would not be very good and I would get discouraged just from that, and whats a 4/4? Also, any tips for lessons in Seattle?

hey, i started to play cello in april, so i`ve been playing for about 9 months now. i started out on a student model 4/4, which is easy to use. the size 4/4 is the largest you can get, and the lower you go, the smaller the cello. so i suggest a 4/4. its not difficult at all and you`ll enjoy it. good luck
