Does anyone have any advice on playing the treble clef parts in Elgar`s cello concerto? I am not very familiar with how to play treble yet.. the other clefs pose no problem for me....

Ciao,

Well, the bottom 5th line on the trble clef cello music is the First E on the A string, the A note after the 1st E is harmonic.

well make sure you just have to play with emtion and really understand what the music is trying to tell you cuz this is a really deep piece.

play some christmas music/hymns or something familiar that you can hear and learn the patterns of notes etc. or ... maybe just start with something a little less involved? as one of my teachers said, don`t play the first movement until you can play the second and then you`ll be ready and able to play it!
