how easy is the cello to pick up?? i`ve never played a string instrument before besides guitar. i`m thinking of renting to buy from tom lee. should i start with the violin or something? i need feedback please!!!

If you are interested in learning cello, do not learn violin first. The technics are totally different, and if you really want to learn cello anyway, don`t start with violin.

As far as how easy he cello is to pick up, well, that depends on you, and if you have good instruction. I`d say find a good teacher, and go from there. I`ve had private instruction from day one of me playing. Both of my teachers have been very, very good, and my instruments and equiptment have been awesome. Try to find a good beginner instrument, and a good teacher.
