I have just purchased a 25 year old Zeller cello off of Ebay. I looked on plently of sites and thought Zeller seemed like a good name in cellos.

I am only a beginner, having played cello since I was young. So, this is a started cello.

Any info. very welcome

I like old cellos, like I have said before, because old cellos with age sound much better than when they were new. I personally don`t care about the name brand, if they are old and still playable, that tells you something already, it`s been around for 25 years, still playable, and sounds good from the wood and varnish of the cello aging and drying out.

Oh, when a cello starts to dry out(takes decades, centuries), it becomes lighter and more hollower which makes it sound better.
