As a bass player, I get a huge kick (and challenge) out of No Doubt.

as a bassplayer you suck, its all about stanley clarke, because he may not be the hardest, but n my opinion its the funnest to play.

Anything with heart and soul like the Chili Peppers, Primus, Victor Wooten, James Jamerson, Stanley Clarke, Bootsy Collins, P Funk, The Meters, The Stranglers,The Clash, Gang of Four, and of course my original music but I could go on for hours but a real bass player will enjoy what he/she may play

hmmm... i must agree with Jezzah, i definatly enjoy playing wooted and claypool, <<< yeah rite like im that goood. shal we put it as " pretend to play". well anyways some of ,my favorite things to play is stuff by floyd, roger waters is amazing. my favorite bands would include, the grateful dead, phish the beatles, floyd, just to name a few

My fav. band, for bas, would have to be red hot chili peppers, flea does such a variety of different stuff and it sounds really sweet

favorite peice, on bass? bass doesn`t play melody, how could their be a fovorite peice? honestly, i think that all rock type bass sucks and i tend to like the jazz stuff more.
