Does anyone here use their pinky on the right hand? It's never included in any classical exercises or songs- it's always just PIMA...

Did I say I played classical? You asked who used their pinky.

I thought with title being "Classical Fingers" it would be obvious but maybe not. Most people I talk to say they never or rarely use their pinky for classical music. I understand it not being used because it's a weaker finger but it seems like with work it could be put to use.

Sadly I don't play classical guitar, but I trained myself, so I learnt that whatever I say goes, including using my pinky.

I find it, on the right hand, to strike the sixth string (High E) when I'm playing something higher, just my thoughts.

Sav, whats your problem? Nobody said anything to you. Niether of you have heared eachother play, so don't go accusing anybody of sucking. Sav, your acting like a 2-year old.

On a different note, I cannot picture a classical guitarist breaking his guitar over somebodies head. I just can't do it.

Hm, I didn't intend for this thread to turn into a meaningless debate between guitarists- shouldn't we be helping each other learn rather than... well you know. And why would you bring in political sides to this Sav? Honestly, it sounds like you're quoting your parents or something- you're forgetting that we're the only country in the world that says our liberal and conservative views are even different. The sides quarrel over small things most of the time and we never get what we want, and that's why we compromise. A good example over a small, meaningless quarrel is this one right here...

You know what, never mind. I'm an idiot for responding- why am I even trying to justify all of you on the internet. Go play guitar.
